Weekend Re-cap :)

The weather up until Saturday was completely HORRIBLE. I' was beginning to think I was living in ’Forks’   LOL. So there really wasn’t much going on.

Friday:

I worked all day and then Me & Christina met Carlie, Steph & Jimmy at La Tolteca for food & margarita’s! I can never pass up some teca! yum :) We left there around 7:15 and made it to the movies at 7:30 so I could FINALLY see ‘Paranormal Activity’. We went to the ghetto Waldorf theatre and it’s funny because as we were walking up to the ticket booth I said “I haven’t been here in YEARS! i couldn’t tell you the last time I actually came here to see a movie” and no sooner as those words left my mouth, there was two young teenage boys arguing in the line.. something about “leave my sister alone or I'll kick your ass” sort of thing. Well the “sister” who looked about 13  was yelling at the same boy saying “I can’t believe you left ME for that WHORE!” haha really? I just couldn’t believe these kids. They were hootin’ & hollerin’ just pissing everyone off around them so this older women, like a mother, nicely asked the young retarded girl to please be quiet cause she dropped the ‘F-BOMB’ about 3656745 times and this young buck had the audacity to start cussing at the older lady calling her “old” and a “bitch” and saying “i ain’t talkin t’a you betch!”  lol I SOOO thought that “old lady” was going to beat some “Young ass” LOL. I just took at Christina and said .. “Now I remember why I don’t come here to see movies, thank you young ghetto assholes.” really.. like where are they’re parents?? They need to be caged up or something.

The movie actually turned out to being VERY good. I was so SCARED! If you haven’t seen it, I recommend you do if your into that scary stuff, if not.. don’t see it. I enjoy being scared while watching a good scary movie.. but I was beyond that, I was TERRIFIED. My eyes were tearing up at certain parts because I was so scared ;x

I made it an early night and after the movie just went home to catch up on some sleep!

 

Saturday:

I went to work at 9am and was supposed to work until 3 but I left early and I cut & styled Jenn's hair. We stopped at Chik-Fil-A for lunch and caught up with each other. It’s been awhile since we had some one-on-one girl time! After lunch we went to the mall to shop. I ended up getting a new shirt & hat to wear later that night.

Around 5pm I went to visit my grandparents in Waldorf & to hang out with my brother. We ate dinner and just hung out until about 7pm when I left to head over to Amber & Martin’s house. It was Martin’s 22nd birthday so she was throwing him a party! A lot of my friends showed up and we had a blast. Drinking games, gossiping, laughing extremely hard & moon-walking all over the place! The story behind the moon-walking venture we were on is only funny if you were there to see it so I can’t really explain. All I know is I moon-walked so much that I really hurt my foot. it’s still so sore & I think a little swollen ;(

I stayed the night at Amber’s (no drinking & driving!) and left around 9am the next morning. I went home to clean up and headed to Robert’s house. I picked him & Charlie up from the pier where they were uni-cycling we went over to Dude-Man’s house across the street to play some corn-hole while the skins game was on! HOW BOUT THEM REDSKINS? WOO! Finally a damn win :) Anyways, Then Bret brought over 3 dozen of live crabs so we went back to Rob’s to cook em up! They were so delish. I love eating crabs. I picked at them until it got dark and cold outside! Later the night we all just chilled and watched ‘DEXTER’ and went to sleep. I can’t WAIT until next Sunday’s ‘Dexter’ because I’m getting really sick of this reporter Christine. I think she shot Deb. bitch. lol that’s okay, because it looks like the Trinity Killer gives her a little visit in the next episode!

Monday:

I woke up and watched some TV with Robert on the couch and made us some coffee. He was off work so it was cool to just lounge around with him. I went home to do some cleaning. I had to put clothes away, pick up my room, and SCRUB the shit out of my bathroom. I also was in “wifey” mode so I went to the grocery store to pick up some things for dinner. My uncle made some yummy spaghetti so I got some garlic French bread to go with it and some ingredients to make pumpkin pie! Robert came over after the gym and we ate and decided to rent a movie. We eneded up getting ’The Orphan’. pretty creepy… but good!

ew, creepy little bitch. LOL

New Layout & New Blogger!

I just changed my blog layout around a little bit. I added the sidebar titles and about me section. I also changed my background, I figured the purple looked better with my header! I’m still figuring out this whole blogger website :)

My boyfriend Robert wanted me to make him his “own website” so I set him up with a BlogSpot page. I made his header & background, I think I did a pretty good job. Halloween Weekend!

I had the best Halloween this year! Me & Robert left to head to Ocean City on Friday afternoon around 3pm. We had to make a pit stop at the Spirit Store so Robert could buy some last minute thins for his Halloween costume. I also need to get some fish nets to complete mine! We got to the condo at round 7:30pm and Daniel, Marie, Nicoletta, Sarah, Sean, Chris & Billy were already there partying! About 20 minutes later, Ashleigh & Matt showed and then an hour later Julie & Jimmy. We had such a blast. All the girls were dressed up cute and we took a lot of pictures! There are way too many, so I’m only going to share a few:

we had such a blast, but it seemed like everyone made it an early night, except for me and Julie. LOL we weren’t ready to stop partying! but of course, we ended up passing out along with everyone else!

 

The night morning was a little rough. Everyone was feeling a little cloudy and just out of it. We all drove to Layton’s to get some breakfast and then we went back to the condo to chill for a little. Me, Robert, Marie, Daniel & Nicoletta laid around and watched TV while Julie went to Jimmy’s softball game and Sarah, Sean, Chris & Billy went to a bar for Bloody Mary’s. About around 4pm we all started getting ready in our costumes. Everyone looked so good!

Jimmy forgot his costume at home so he was the only one not dressed! We pre-gamed at the condo until 8pm then we headed to Seacrets! We got there at the perfect time, there was no line and NO cover charge!

There was so many awesome costumes that were funny & really creative! I think if we stayed long enough for the costume contest, Robert would’ve won. He got so many compliments and people were constantly stopping to take his picture! I drank some yummy ‘Dirty Bananas’ and took a few shots. I love the drinks at Seacrets, the bartenders  make them so good!

I already can’t wait until next Halloween, I have the best costume idea! I wish Halloween lasted longer than one night because its one of my favorite holidays!

So I did absolutely NOTHING yesterday but inventory, made the gift bags for our grand opening and then cut Robert’s hair when he got off work! no $! ugh. I need some new clients, come 'on ladies.. who need their hair done? ;)

I went to the grocery store when I got off work and picked up some stuff for dinner and some ingredients to make a yummy pumpkin roll for Robert. He’s been bugging me to make him one since he’s tried it. here’s the recipe I used:

Ingredients

• CAKE
• 1/4 cup powdered sugar (to sprinkle on towel)
• 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 3 large eggs
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 2/3 cup LIBBY'S® 100% Pure Pumpkin
• 1 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
• FILLING
• 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, at room temperature
• 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
• 6 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• Powdered sugar (optional for decoration)

Directions

FOR CAKE:
PREHEAT oven to 375° F. Grease 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan; line with wax paper. Grease and flour paper. Sprinkle a thin, cotton kitchen towel with powdered sugar.
COMBINE flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and salt in small bowl. Beat eggs and granulated sugar in large mixer bowl until thick. Beat in pumpkin. Stir in flour mixture. Spread evenly into prepared pan. Sprinkle with nuts.
BAKE for 13 to 15 minutes or until top of cake springs back when touched. (If using a dark-colored pan, begin checking for doneness at 11 minutes.) Immediately loosen and turn cake onto prepared towel. Carefully peel off paper. Roll up cake and towel together, starting with narrow end. Cool on wire rack.
FOR FILLING:
BEAT cream cheese, 1 cup powdered sugar, butter and vanilla extract in small mixer bowl until smooth. Carefully unroll cake. Spread cream cheese mixture over cake. Reroll cake. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate at least one hour. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
COOKING TIP:
Be sure to put enough powdered sugar on the towel when rolling up the cake so it will not stick.

Robert cooked chicken & steak stir fry. It was so delish ;) He’s such a good cook! Now me on the other hand, I suck. LOL I’m only good at baking sweets! who would’ve thought huh?!

 

The rest of the night we just relax. We watched the Caps game and I caught up on some celebrity gossip reading my ‘In-Touch’ magazine. It felt great to just chill in and do a whole lot of nothing.

Tomorrow night, Robert’s friend Dylan is playing at Casey Jones so we are going there after I get off of work to see him. He’s an awesome singer. Listen to his music here and come check him out tomorrow night with us!

I’m getting extremely excited about our Ocean City trip for Halloween weekend. Only one more day then we will be on our way! I still have to get some last minute items for my costume for Saturday night and some Vampire teeth for our ‘TrueBlood’ party on Friday night! I’ll be sure to take a lot of pictures ;)

 

Speaking of VAMPIRES, I just watched ‘Twilight’, yes.. AGAIN. I’m a raging dork, but it’s ok. I just love me some Edward Cullen. I cant wait to see ‘NEW MOON’!! Only 22 more days!!!!!! YES :)

what a boring & tired Tuesday =/

I hope last weeks raining streak doesn’t think it’s going to come back. ohhh no. That was such a miserable week! It’s really boring today, I’m the only one here at work. I brought some movies to watch on my laptop when I’m done playing online. I brought “Romy & Michelle’s high school reunion”, “When a stranger calls” & of course.. “Twilight” :) At least Edward will keep me content!

Friday night I hung out with Marie & Nicoletta at Marie at Dan’s  condo. We tried this drink recipe  called “TrueBlood” that Nic found to make on Friday for the OC pre-halloween party! Mmm, so delish :) It really looks like blood too! Daniel got home from work and Evan stopped by and we all played some card games and drank. We all made it an early night, everyone passed out around 11:30! I had to work at 9am on Saturday, so I wasn’t complaining.

Saturday after work I went down to Robert’s. I was a little tired, so while he was playing “C.O.D” (Call of Duty) on Xbox, I fell asleep for a little while. We were both in “chill mode” that we just laid around the rest of the night. We were supposed to go out to dinner, but that didn’t happen. At about 8, some friends came over and we started drinking/pre-gaming before we left to got to Hula’s. Christina was coming to pick up Me & Robert, so we waited on her and Mike, then left.

We partied there until about 12:30, I think! All of our friends were there and the Brittany the birthday girl! There was lots of shots being taken and a lot of moon-walking on the back deck. LOL, I just recently learned how to moon-walk so I was all over the place making my friend laugh :D

When we got back to Robert’s, It was like a shit show. Everyone was pretty much DONE. The boys started playing Xbox (ugh!) again

Sunday Me & Robert rented a bunch of movies! We got “Obsessed” which I LOVED! Beyonce kicked some ass in that movie :) We also watched “Drag me to hell” I don’t recommend you rent that, very cheesy! The last movie we rented was “Transformers 2” That was awesome. I love Shia Labeouf, he’s such a good actor.. and Megan Fox, She’s gorgeous. If I could pick any celebrity to look like, It would definitely be her!

 

Monday, Me & Robert went to a bunch of thrift stores trying to find a light gray suit for his Peewee Herman Halloween costume.

We couldn’t find any matches, so I think he’s just going to be a Zombie instead because we leave for Ocean City on Friday and there’s not much time.

The rest of the day I just chilled out and relaxed. I watched the Redskins game, and do I need to say anymore? WTF are they doing? Campbell needs to put duck tape on his hands, fucker can’t even keep a hold of the ball It really pisses me off. I had to turn it off and watch my recorded episode of ‘Gossip Girl’.

Dancing is soo me.

I love to dance. Day or night, music or in silence, drunk or sober (hah!) All day, Everyday! I’ve loved to dance since I was little, and ‘til this day, I haven’t changed a bit! I just have so much fun doing it and it’s such a great work out :)

 

Make-up is soo me.

I can’t go a day with out make up, especially out in public! My favorite is MAC cosmetics. I love wearing bright colors, and coordinating my eyes to match my clothes! I like to look different and never the same. Adding lashes give me a more dramatic look, which I like to do when I’m going out on the weekends or to a special event.

 

Juicy Couture is soo me.

I am COMPLETELY obsessed with Juicy bags. I have many different colors & styles. I can’t help but to buy a new one when I’m strolling through Nordstrom’s! They are so girly and have cute little sayings on them. You cant go wrong with anything Juicy!

 

La Tolteca is soo me.

I love me some Mexican food and La Tolteca is the best local Mexican restaurant around me. I always order the ‘Lunch Special #5’. I go there for lunch with friends at least one a week, I know its a little too often, but I LOVE the food :)

 

Knee boots are soo me.

It’s fall time and you can’t go wrong with a pair of sexy boots! I like em from leather stilettos all the way to flat & furry! I feel as if they complete any outfit and spice it up a bit!

 

Kissing is soo me.

I just love lips! nice & full lips are the best for kissing ;) I love the slow & sweet kisses but I also like the hard & passionate kisses! I even adore the cute little kisses on the forehead or cheek!

 

Robert is soo me.

I love Robert Sheldon Mitchell ♥ even though he can be a real pain in my ass, he’s everything I want ;) He’s sweet, SEXY, dresses nice, makes me laugh, sweet at times and always keeps me on my toes. I love him to the moon & back!

This Past weekend..

 

Friday Night:

I did absolutely nothing. I didn’t even want to leave the house because it was so rainy & nasty out and I was starting to feel sicky ;x I just watched movies, layed in bed and played online. That’s about it.

 

Saturday:

I went into work @ 9am, only had two clients (BOO!) Robert had to work pretty early in Baltimore and while he was working, a Baltimore bum broke his driver side window and stole his cell phone & MY Navigation system! So he had to stop by Craig’s(his mom’s boyfriend) shop to get a whole new window, go to Verizon to cancel his phone & order a new one & then finally made it home! poor little babe ;( I got off work at 3pm and then went home to get ready for the night and then headed down to Robert’s house. I was determined to not sit at home another night, So Robert suggested we go to College Park to visit our friend Ben & to party hardy! We got there around 8ish and started partyin pretty early! Lauren & Kale were also there which was awesome because I had a girl to kick it with! We played a lot of games of Beer Pong & then around 11ish we headed to the bus stop to take us out. The first bar we went to was ‘Corner Stone’ and it was jammed packed! We had about 2 drinks there and went next door to another bar, I don’t remember the name of it! I was the first to go in and I rushed through people to try to find the bathroom and when I did, it took FORVER! I don’t understand why it takes girls so long to use the bathroom.. I mean to your business and get out. lol, anyways…

So after the bathroom, I went on a hunt to find the group and I search the whole bar and was like where is everyone? It was even more packed than the first bar and full of hot, sweaty, rain-drenched, drunk college kids! I finally found Robert & Kale at the downstairs bar and as I walking over to them, my earring got caught on some dudes jacket and ripped it out. Then walking to find Ben & The rest of the group, some drunk girl spilled her whole drink down my arm, my toe got stepped on and I was just over it. Robert was too. But then we realized we lost Lauren & Kale, Ben wasn’t going back to the house right away so We rolled out, grabbed a taxi and somehow Robert remembered how the hell to get back to the house and we made it. There was more people back at the house then before, playing beer pong, girls taking shots & dancing to music from the iPod. it was craziness! Soon after we got there, Lauren & Kale made there way back home! I met some really chill girls, we talked about college, fake boobs & shots! haha!  and we all chilled for a little bit before passing out.

 

Sunday:

I woke up Sunday morning pretty early, I felt so gross, I wanted to go home & shower and get out of my clothes from the night before. We got home around 11am, took showers, got ready and headed back out to get some lunch. We went to Jasper’s to eat & watch the football game! Fucking Redskins, really? ;/

At 2:40pm we went to see ‘The Stepfather’ – don’t waste your money. I liked the whole movie, but the ending SUCKED! I guess a better way of saying it is wait til it comes out on DVD. I really wanted to see ‘Paranormal Activity’ but me or Robert didn’t feel like driving all the way to Annapolis to see it! The rest of the day we just lounged around, ordered pizza, drank hot tea, watched Dexter and went to bed!

Yesterday:

I did a whole lot of nothing, AGAIN. lol I put some clothes away, showered, and went to get my nails done. I got them cut down way shorter and black :) I figured it’s October, black nails are perfect for Halloween! oh speaking of Halloween.. I got my costume in the mail & it fits, THANK GOD! here is what I’m being:

After my nails, I met up with Robert & we went to his Dad’s house for Dinner. It was his Dad’s birthday! Robert bought him a Carhart Jacket & beanie. We played with his little brother & sister, Titus & Abby, then ate some yummy dinner & Spiderman cake his wife made. We ended the night pretty early, went back to Robert’s, watched ‘The Eye’ on TV and then passed out.

Right now I’m at work, and bored as usual on a regular Tuesday morning ;/ I’m just playing around online! I found this movie that just came out on DVD that i want to see! It’s starring Rob Pattinson! Ahh! :)

I’m going to have to rent/buy that ASAP!

I’m not doing much tonight, just probably chillen, catching up on my TV shows I have recorded on DVR and going to bed. I’m still feeling kind of crappy, so I want to rest as much as possible so I don’t get any worse ;/

rain rain go away…

It is seriously disgusting outside! Not only is it rainy, It’s freakin COLD. I hate fall/winter.  I’m sitting at work, and it’s dead in here, I’m guessing because of the weather.. But whatever, I’ll just be playing around on the computer all day.

 

I just added a mini iPod player to my blog. That’s where the music is coming from if you were wondering! its on the right sidebar.  I got it from mixpod.com! I had to have my man Rob Pattinson’s song as my first one on the player ;) LOL

 

After work last night, Robert came over and we snuggled up and watched this movie called “Eagle Eye” but of course I fell asleep. lol, THANK GOD for Comcast DVR because I had to record Vampire Diaries. Robert won’t watch those kind of shows with me! Really.. I just wish vampires existed.. need I say anymore….

He is so yummy!  So who’s excited for the Halloween Episode? ME! :) I’m a dork, but whatev. I thank ‘Twilight’ for getting me obsessed with sexy vamps!

Tonight I’m not too sure what I’m doing. I know Robert has to work early tomorrow morning, but so do I. Right now I’m at work, It’s a slow day, which is why I have time to blog.. it’s usually slow in the beginning of the week! I figured I make a post before my 3:00 appointment! I’m going to re-cap what happend this past weekend because I was very busy!

 

Friday;

I worked at 9am to about 5pm at the salon and went home to get ready for the “Escape the Armada” show at Hula’s! It was also Charlie’s birthday so it was a Crazy night! Let’s just say.. I won $100 doing what I do best & hung out with some awesome people :)

 

 

Saturday;

I went into work at 9am and was done around 3pm. I took a little nap before the second night of craziness! Robert came over and then we left to head over to Amber’s house for the “Anything goes but Clothes” party! It was a blast! I made my costume out of a twister board:

All the girls were very creative.. ribbons, cupcake wrappers, pillow cases, towels, trash bags.. etc.

and the boys.. lol not so much. just HILARIOUS!

We partied until about 3am and then everyone started passing out! I knew it was going to be tired for Leah’s birthday party the next day, So I knew I had to stop drinking pretty early!

 

Sunday;

Got up pretty early and took Robert to Thompson’s Seafood to get some crabs to take to my cousin’s house from the  Redskins game while I was at Leah’s 5th Birthday Party! Jenn did  a great job with the set up! It was all Hello Kitty & so cute :) Leah looked adorable as usual! The first thing she showed me was her new pink nails she got painted for her birthday! I got her a mini vanity with some little girl make-up since that’s what she told me she wanted the night of my birthday dinner! Such a cutie :)

After the party I left and went to get Robert from my cousin’s! Him & Jimmy were both passed out on the couch (butthead!) I was so exhausted from the weekend that I couldn’t wait to get some comfy clothes on & snuggle on the couch! We ended up renting “Adventureland” on Comcast. It was pretty good!

 

so that was my busy busy weekend! Even though I was tired as hell by the end of it, I enjoyed every second  :)
